![]() Hogans are still some of the best irons ever made, and the CFTs are probably the most forgiving Hogan irons of all. Its a pitty Callaway bought the name and then killed it. No one makes or ever made a better looking iron than Hogan. The Hogans have no fancy gimmicks, just good, solid design and beautiful construction. The lightweight forged titanium face insert allows more weight to be moved back and to the perimeter and the irons are as forgiving as anything on the market. ![]() The CFTs have as much technology in them as anything else on the market today, as far as I am concerned. I have tried some fo the newer irons on the market, but honestly see no advantage in shelling out more money for the newer models. Often I just play the 3-5 irons instead of the hybrids and they are also very easy clubs to hit, very long and straight and forgiving. I often play the matching CFT hybrids, 2-5, and find them to be very easy to hit and to control. I am left handed and finally managed to obtain the ultra-rare F iron,(50 degree gap wedge), and the even rarer 55 Degree matching left handed sand wedge to complete the set. I have been playing the CFT irons for the past several years and have really come to love their feel and looks. ![]()
